Dr Alison Turner is a Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist, she has many years of experience in private practice where she sees individuals, couples, families and children. Alison provides supervision for other therapists and organisational consultation where she offers both group and individual services. Alison is an AHPRA endorsed specialist in counselling psychology and she has expertise in treating a range of clinical issues and relationship difficulties.

Alison is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a member of the College of Counselling Psychologists. She was a Board Member of the National Centre for Childhood Grief (NCCG) for five years and remains a consultant to the NCCG. She was a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia Executive Committee and Ethics Committee’s, and an Executive Member of the Society of Counselling and Psychotherapy Educators.

However, Alison’s main passion remains her work with clients, where she provides a thoughtful, respectful and caring environment for growth and change. Alison’s approach to therapy is based on providing treatment that is tailored to the particular needs, circumstances and personality of her clients.
